01 Hotel
The Hotel is open for winter 2023/24 bookings. Demand is already high. The rooms are all en-suite. The bedrooms all have super king beds. The bathrooms have a fantastic large bath to soak away the aches from a hard days skiing.
02 Resto
For those staying in the hotel or just passing, our chefs are waiting for you. Start the day wth a cooked breakfast, a local dish for lunch followed by a magnificent 3 course evening dinner with paired wines.
03 Take away
For those not wanting a full sit down lunch, we are still offering a large menu from our take away. The now famous 'Hot Chocolate' with whipped cream and marshmallows taste just as good outside as in, as does the 'Vin Chaud'.
Located in the heart of the Bretaye ski basin above Villars-sur-Ollon, at an altitude of 1800m, Hotel Du Lac boasts unique panoramic Alpine views. Built in 1870's, this family run hotel & restaurant is the perfect destination to relax and take in the beauty of the Swiss Alps.
Stay with us for a few nights in one of our 12 luxury en-suite rooms, escape the evening chill by the warmth of the roaring fire in our private lounge and enjoy a three course dinner carefully prepared by our very own Executive Chef.
Take a break from a hard days ski and stop off for a bite to eat in our large restaurant or on our south-facing terrace, on your way down the mountain. Or join us by taking a scenic trip on the cog train from Villars - Bretaye as it winds through Alpine meadows, pine forests and an opening South facing plateau.

and the last train from Col-de-Bretaye - Villars sur Ollon is at 6:15pm.
We are not accessible by road during the winter months.
